Tegoroczny gamescom to nowy rekord jeśli chodzi o liczbę polskich gier. Został pobity najlepszy, jak do tej pory, 2017 rok.
W roku 2016 były to 43 gry, w 2017 rekordowe 58, w ubiegłym 51, a teraz – przynajmniej na razie, aż 72. Wśród oczywistych hitów pokroju Cyberpunka 2077, trzeciej części Wiedźmina na Switcha czy Dying Light 2, jest sporo interesujących produkcji. Będą też pierwsze na świecie pokazy, m.in. Gamedec czy Wingspan, pokaz konsolowego Frostpunka oraz cztery zapowiedzi całkowicie nowych gier. Jak to zazwyczaj bywa, o niektórych produkcjach dowiemy się tuz przed gamescomem, który odbędzie się w dniach 20-24 sierpnia w Kolonii.
Z 72 prezentowanych polskich gier na PC nagramy w 57, Xbox One (35), PlayStation 4 i Switch (po 32), 7 na mobilki i po 3 na urządzenia VR oraz Google Stadię.
